Can one have too many cookbooks? Perhaps. But who am I to talk, I have far too many and I have added my own to the world’s supply. This week I am off to the 3rd International Cookbook Fair in Paris. It is held in an amazing old building 104 in Paris’ 19th district, a huge old funeral parlour, transformed into a very modern arts centre several years ago.
Why am I going? Well there will be people there from all over the world who write and promote cookbooks. I’m hoping to learn more about food photography and what makes a cookbook a best seller. Also there is always more to learn about writing and producing cookbooks . Will I write another one? Only time will tell.
